Buildots has announced a new integration with Autodesk BIM 360, a project management solution and part of Autodesk Construction Cloud, to automate field management issues creation

The new integration with BIM 360 allows project teams to log deviations detected with visual information in Buildots’ AI-based automated progress tracking, such as incorrect installations, by automatically creating issues in BIM 360.

Construction managers can then minimize delays and avoid cost overruns by continuing to manage issues within BIM 360.

Translating data into actionable insights

Buildots focuses on AI-based automated progress tracking, capturing imaging of ongoing projects and employing AI to translate the data into actionable insights.

It monitors construction progress against the plans and schedule, generating gap analysis and predictive analytics that can alert project managers that corrective action is needed.

This process facilitates continuous improvement in performance and adapts to changing realities on the ground, reducing construction delays.

Aviv Leibovici, co-founder and CPO of Buildots, said: “The integration between Buildots and BIM 360 is a win for the construction industry.

“It promises to bring new levels of efficiency and precision to construction. Together, we aim to enhance how building projects are planned and executed, making it easier for professionals to contribute to better construction outcomes.”

Buildots was founded by Aviv Leibovici, Roy Danon and Yakir Sudry.

It now has more than 200 employees across three continents, with offices in Tel Aviv, London and Philadelphia.

In July, the company secured $15m in a funding round to support its continued strategic growth.

The funding, led by Intel Capital with participation from OG Tech Partners brings the company’s total financing to $121m as it continues to develop construction tech enhancements for its core management platform.

Earlier this year, Buildots launched its Delay Forecast feature, which uses AI to predict construction delays and recommends mitigating actions before potential disruptions escalate.
