AEC software giant Nemetschek Group has announced that Dr Rebecca Koch has been appointed as its chief people officer
She will be responsible for further evolving the group’s global people organization strategy and operations with a particular focus on culture, leadership, collaboration and sustainable business growth. She will join the group on 1 September 2024.
Dr Koch has more than 15 years of experience in international business and HR leadership roles. She will bring a holistic perspective on people and business challenges such as digitalization, transformation and M&A.
In her last position at logistics specialist DB Schenker, she was chief people officer Europe with responsibility for around 45,000 employees.
Her extensive experience also includes several HR leadership roles at the US medical technology company Becton Dickinson. She was most recently responsible for talent and culture in the Greater Asia region, based in Singapore.
Dr Koch started her career at Bain & Company and recently completed the International Directors Program at INSEAD.
In recognition of her achievements, Rebecca Koch was named one of the Top 40 Thought Leaders in HR in Germany by Personalmagazin in 2023.
She has also been a member of Generation CEO since 2018.
In addition, as an advocate for responsible entrepreneurship and future skills development, she serves on the advisory board of Startup Teens, Germany’s largest digital education platform for entrepreneurship and coding.
