Nemetschek Group is marking its launch in India with a summit exploring the digital transformation in the country’s burgeoning infrastructure sector
India is arguably the world’s biggest infrastructure development market, with investment requirements put at $2,223.82bn.
With the country undergoing rapid urbanization and ambitious targets to become a £5tn economy by 2025, strong infrastructure growth will be essential.
Digital transformation will have a key role to play, not only in terms of better execution and efficiency but also to make infrastructure more resilient against a range of challenges, Nemetschek said.
Shaping India’s future infrastructure
The summit, Architecting India’s Future: Building Infrastructure for Tomorrow, will take place at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai on 10 July. The event is being held in association with ET Infra.
The conference aims to delve into the dynamic landscape of AEC/O industries, focusing on the pivotal role of innovative design, precision engineering, and sustainable practices in shaping India’s future infrastructure.
A mix of panel discussions and presentations will cover points including:

- Sustainable design and resilient infrastructure for tomorrow’s challenges.
- Strategies for streamlining the design-to-build process.
- Empowering the next generation of AEC professionals.

The summit comes after Nemetschek Group opened its Mumbai office earlier this year. It is the company’s second location in the country after its shared services, development and research center based in Hyderabad.
The Mumbai office began operations on 1 April.
