Women in BIM has held its first networking event in New York, marking a “significant milestone” in empowering and promoting female professionals in the architect, engineering and construction industry

Held on 2 May, the event was organised and led by Yafei Zhang AIA, regional lead of Women in BIM, and Miryam Varona Rogel, associate BIM manager at architect and engineer Gilsanz Murrey Steficek (GMS).

The event was sponsored by the Beverley Willis Architecture Foundation and Snaptrude.

The event showcased the critical leadership of industry pioneers dedicated to fostering a supportive community for women in BIM-related professions.
